Six Seniors Awarded GHS PTSA Student Scholarships
GHS PTSA Student Scholarships will be awarded to six senior students at the GHS PTSA General Meeting on Monday, May 7th, at 6:45 p.m. in the library. Alyshah Aziz, Sam Hearn, Devon Meisetschleager, Mackenzie Rosenjack, Stephen Smith and Carter Tielkemeier will each receive a $500 scholarship to the University they will be attending in the fall.
Scholarship recipients are chosen by a PTSA scholarship review committee. Names are removed from each application and each candidate is scored in the areas of activities, achievements GPA, leadership, an essay of 300 words or less and a letter of recommendation. Many deserving and impressive applications were submitted but only six are selected.
Congratulations to these outstanding Grapevine High School seniors and their families. The GHS PTSA looks forward to hearing about your future accomplishments.

There were many GHS students that participated in the PTA's Reflections Program this year, which is an arts recognition and achievement program inspiring students to creatively express themselves with original works of art.
This year’s pre-selected theme was "Diversity Means...", and students submitted entries in six arts categories: Literature, Musical composition, Photography, Visual arts, Dance Choreography, Film/Video Production.
The Reflections Program followed a "contest" format, and participation was organized by grade. Student works were critiqued against others in the same arts category, and the following works were selected to advance to the Council Level where they will be judged with works of other students from the same grade division district-wide.
